GaaBia is an innovation of Kanasa Travel — a fully registered transport company with over three years of trusted service in luxury commuting across Nigeria. Known for its fleet of luxury buses, Siennas, and caravans, Kanasa Travel has built a reputation for comfort, safety, and reliability in interstate travel.
Today, Kanasa is taking that same dedication and experience to the streets of Umuahia through GaaBia — a modern, locally inspired mobility solution designed to make movement easier, safer, and more convenient for everyone. With a focus on premium experience and community trust, GaaBia is bridging the gap between traditional transport and digital innovation.
The project is powered by Five Stars Digital Media — the technology partner driving the digital backbone, app development, and customer experience systems that make GaaBia smart, reliable, and accessible to all.

2022 — Kanasa Travel Was Founded
Kanasa Travel entered the transport industry with a fleet of luxury buses, Siennas, and caravans — providing safe and comfortable interstate transport across Nigeria.
2024 — The Vision for Local Mobility
As Kanasa grew, the team saw a need to bring reliable and tech-driven transportation to everyday people in Umuahia.
Mid 2025 — Partnership with Five Stars Digital Media
Kanasa partnered with Five Stars Digital Media to design and power a digital platform that could bring its transport experience to the city level.
October 2025 — The Birth of GaaBia
GaaBia officially launched in Umuahia — a smart, local, and proudly Abia-made ride-hailing service built on Kanasa’s transport legacy and Five Stars’ innovation.
